Core Products International, Inc. was founded in 1988 with the idea that therapeutic products should be comfortable to wear and use.
Business Challenge
Core Products' growth was being undermined by changes to managed care, the threat of competition, and a series of costly acquisitions. In order to protect their market position and their state of financial health, they would need to transform the company's corporate culture.
Solution
The employees of Core Products were led through the 12-week Dale Carnegie Course. The course engaged participants in a continuous 360 degree cycle of practice and feedback. "The most important thing for me was to provide my employees with an environment where they could succeed together and to give them the tools and self confidence they needed to accomplish goals as a group and as individuals," said Phil Mattison.
Results
In the ten years since Core began training with Dale Carnegie, its sales have soared from $3 million to in excess of $12 million.
